Greetings!

     Here is a schedule of Rapier events at the Ravenslake/Caer Anterth Mawr event "It's Only A War" 11 June...

 

8:30 am Authorizations/inspections begin...it's a half hour after the site opens-authorizations depends on marshals (Northshield/Midrealm) being available.

 

9:30 am Team Double Elimination Tourney...depending on the number of participants, teams of 3 to 5 will be matched in a double elim tourney-sort of mini-melees to start off.

 

10:30 am Ajudacated Tourney...a regular double elim tourney...with the addition of a Panel of Distinguished Judges (to be named from those attending). Fight your fight, and the Judges will award points in the areas of Prowess, Period Style, and Panache. Each Judge may award up to three points in each category each bout to each combattant. At the end, we'll have a winner by number of bouts won, and a winner by the total number of points awarded by the Judges.

 

12:00 to 1:00 Lunch Break

 

1:00 pm until we quit...Melee! We will melee over the same ground as the heavy fighters (at different times!) in Open Field scenarios, broken field scenarios, and restricted front scenarios. There will be four teams, and sides will be randomly assigned for the battles.

 

NOTE! If anyone wants to help at the list table, let me know-successful completion will be good for a Midrealm MIT signature in the "Administration" category.
