I wanted to let everyone know that there will be a Food Tavern at "It's Only
a War", the joint event between the Barony of Caer Anterth Mawr and the
Shire of Ravenslake the weekend on June 10th-12th. I will be running the
muster breakfasts at Pennsic this year and I am using this as a fundraiser
for that and any monies left after doing the muster breakfasts will be
donated to the Northshield Royal Travel Fund.(A small portion of the funds
raised will be going to House Grayfox and Shadews as they are going to
jointly help me run this.)
We will be open later in the evening Friday for a limited food menu, though
we will have coffee, tea, hot chocolate and soda, oh and of course root beer
or orange ice cream floats! We will be open starting at 7am on Saturday for
breakfasty stuff and then will run lunch items until it is all gone. A menu
will be posted this weekend.
Whether you are going to be on the side of the Aztecs or the Mongols come on
out have some fun at the event, fill your belly at the tavern and have some
good conversation with old friends or meet some new ones.
The event site is just lovely on the shores of a lake and two sides of the
site are waterfront! There will be archery, thrown weapons, rapier, heavy,
