Dawn Kusy and Susan Redding are organizing a one-day women's hat
tournament for May 11 in Palmyra (45 minutes west of Richmond, 30
minutes east of Charlottesville). Our primary goal, besides just
having a fun event, is to get more women playing ultimate in central
VA and to keep the momentum going on some positive developments. Dawn
says C-Ville winter league brought a bunch of new women to the game,
and Sarah King has done a great job in Richmond getting a women's
pickup game going. There are a lot of promising new ultimate players
out there, and we want to get them hooked on the game.

The tournament web site is up and registration details are available
online. We really hope that you will sign up. Having a core of
experienced players to help coach the newbies and lead by example
will make for a great event. You MUST register at least a week BEFORE
the event.
