Just a heads up about Westover. Last Tuesday there were kids playing a
modified soccer game by 6:30pm in the area (outlined by white paint) in
the area where the field is normally set up. There is also a group of
kids that comes to play softball by 6:30pm. They used the back baseball
field, but that may have been because we were using the area inbetween
the football goalposts (which holds a "Cara-size" full size ultimate
field) and kind of overlaps into the front baseball field's outfield.
Point: Use the area between the football goalposts for a field. If the
kids' groups need the space we are using, it is better to let them have
it/compromise with them than argue that "we were there first" and
ingraciate ourselves with the community.
GRULers, Summer league is over, as well as the Richmond men's team chance to go to regionals. However, we still have pick up in Byrd Park! If you miss the fun...
