1. Maruyama Sensei Seminar 60% Sold - Pre-register
With 60% of places already sold on the upcoming Maruyama Sensei Seminar, I would encourage everyone to pre-register for the seminar as places are limited. To pre-register please go to http://brisbaneaikido.com/maruyama2007.html

2. No Class this Sunday 19/8/07 at Logan Dojo
There will be no class this Sunday 19th August at Logan Dojo. Normal Classes resume Sunday 26/8/07.
3. Aikido and Shinto Ryu Iaijutsu Saturday Sept. 8th 2007
David Dangerfield sensei, friend of Griffith Aikido will present a one day seminar on the relationship between the sword and Aikido at a one day seminar. To be held Sept. 8th 2007 at his dojo in Palmwoods. This is a great opportunity to practice sword with a teacher skilled in both the weapons and aikido traditions. Sensei is making this event available at no cost to our dojo as a part of the Dows/ Dangerfield friendship seminar series.

Congratulations to David Shields and Tony Neal Sensei's on being awarded a Redlands Shire Council Community Benefit fund Grant to purchase new mats for the Capalaba Aikido Yuishinkai dojo, under the auspices of Griffith Aikido. This is a fantastic testament to your growing dojo and our hard work and dedication in the shire of Redlands. We look forward to rolling on your new acromats ( a fine selection of material! ) at the upcoming national seminar in September/October.
