Hi everyone

 

Michael Williams Sensei has asked our Sydney dojo to conduct a grading for Peter Kelly ("Big Pete") from Tasmania to the rank of sandan. This is because Peter is unable to get to Byron Bay in the forseeable future but will be in Sydney in a couple of weeks time. The grading will take place on the afternoon of Saturday, 26 February.

 

As we are only a small club (and Pete's a very big guy), I'm wondering if there are any yudansha, or senior kyu grades, who will be in Sydney, or might like to come to Sydney, who are able to take part in the grading?

 

I expect there will be various social activities arranged to coincide with the event, and we can possibly help out with accommodation (but you'll have to cover your own travel costs, sadly).

 

Some of you budo bums and budo babes have been threatening to visit us in Sydney for years: so here's a good excuse!
