Dear members,
Last night (due chiefly to Stu and Gabby's vigilence) theft of personal
belongings and the nights takings was averted. Security later on confirmed
that this person was asked to leave other buildings on the campus. As the
dojo space is a common use area many people drift in and out.
Can I urge you all to remain vigilant and take the following precautions:-
1/ Store your bags and belongings away from the common room tables and
chairs e.g. against the far wall of the second (smaller) mat are
2/ Ensure that the cupboard doors locked when not in use
3/ Inquire politely of anyone entering the room and alert security of any
unusual activity.
Fortunatley as Jutta does banking regularly there is never any cash left on
the premesis. Yes our would be thief asked someone if cash was kept on the
premisis
Many thanks,
Dan
