Aikido Beginners - South Bank, Nathan, Logan
This course introduces the martial art of Aikido whose foundations stem from
the samurai martial arts and meditation disciplines practiced by the men and
women of feudal Japan. Aikido uses the idea of being in harmony with your
opponents, and during the course you will learn traditional aikido
technique, basic self defence, ukemi (defensive tumbling), Ki training,
breathing methods, relaxation, stretching exercises, traditional sword and
staff weapons practice and dojo safety.
