Reply | Forward Message #1121 of 1180 |

Greetings to the Grand Army. We at the Haven are going to start posting the attendance and minutes of our weekly practices in hopes that you can give us feedback on what we should focus on more or less.

Week of October 17th.

The following fighters were at the Haven Friday Night practice.

Lord Stiofan MacMartain
Lord Volkhard Rovan
Lady Kalara
Lord Gerhard
Lord Klaus
Lord Bjorn
Kat
Andrew
Conrad
Ulf
Amanda Black
Neil
Kevin MacMartin
Morgan
Erica
Alex
Andy
Godric
Moose

We talked on Tash's new 7 man unit formation.
We then practiced moving and marching as a 14 man unit, and then as 7 man units including wheeling, reforming, turning, and rallying for 20 minutes.

We then did one on one tourney fighting, focusing on killing polearms and legged fighters for 20 minutes. New fighters were trained by Klaus covering the basics of power generation and striking areas.

Stiofan drilled "protecting your spearmen, and capturing enemy spears in melee" using 3 vs 3 man units with the goal for spearmen to kill, and shieldmen to capture the enemy spear for 15 minutes.

We then worked with Lord Klaus and Lord Gerhard by running a triad bearpit (3 on 3 melees), 4 on 4, and finally 7 on 7 melee bearpits for 35 minutes.

End of practice was called, and fighters continued to fight one on one for a while afterward.

Thank you all,

Lord Volkhard Rovan
Lord Stiofan MacMartain
