This is just a reminder that the Family Fun Fest is happening Saturday in
front of the Center of Science and Industry (COSI) from noon to 9:30 pm. The
flyer below lists many of the wonderful, family-oriented activities for the
whole family.

Remember that the Family Fun Fest will feature the first valet bicycle
parking service by the Columbus Green Team's Pedal Instead. The Pedal
Instead bike corral will be located at the south end of Washington Boulevard
which runs in front of COSI. Across from the Pedal Instead bike corral will
be a Safety Town by the Community Bike Patrol to teach kids safety skills.

The Pedal Instead bike corral will be FREE and we will be giving away FREE
water bottles with the Pedal Instead logo on it to all who use the Pedal
Instead bike corral. The bike corral will be open at 10:00 am, before the
Family Fun Fest begins and will close at 10:00 pm after the Family Fun Fest
ends.

Remember that there will be a special outdoor screening of "Ice Age 2, the
Meltdown" at 8:00 pm followed by Boehringer's Ingelheim Roxane's Fantastic
Family Fireworks!!!

So, if you get bored by the Buckeyes romp over the Bearcats, come on out to
the Family Fun Fest and enjoy FREE bicycle parking!

CHECK OUT THE BALLOON ZOO
AND GIANT BALLOON SCULPTURE!
Randy Zacks and his team of BalLOONiacs
will amaze and delight with their balloon creations!


Balloon Animal Workshops-noon to 8 pm
Be sure to visit the Grange Insurance Tent to view
the balloon zoo and participate in hands-on balloon twisting! Learn how to
create your very own balloon zoo animals such as giraffes, elephants, lions,
tigers, bears, birds and penguins!


Large Scale Balloon Sculpture
Randy Zacks and his BaLLOONiacs will create an
on-site, large scale balloon sculpture of characters from the film ICE AGE
2: The Meltdown. This will be a day-long project that will conclude with an
8' tall creation of Manny the Woolly Mammoth!


Come out Saturday for more than 50 interactive
activities, river rides and artistic adventures. Interactive activity areas
include - Target Amazing Arts, Bob Evans Fishing Pond, Giant Eagle City
Safari, Construction Corner presented by Lowe's, Destination Fun, Sports
Spot, Safety and Self Zone presented by Children's Hospital and AEP Ohio and
the Verizon Wireless Reading Corner.

Be sure to stick around for the outdoor screening of
ICE AGE 2: The Meltdown before it is released on DVD. Be one of the first
100 people to The CW booth at 7 p.m. to receive a coupon for free popcorn.
Then make your way over to the Riverfront Amphitheater for the movie which
starts at 8 p.m. Boehringer Ingelheim Roxane's Fantastic Family Fireworks
will light up the Columbus sky immediately follow the movie.
