RE: [gobagroup] 1st time GOBA rider wondering what's important?

Did you ever see that email photo of the group of people on the beach and you
can tell what sport they do by the white tan lines? Be proud of those tan
lines, it means that you probably have a biker's body/fitness level which makes
up for the funky tan lines. :-)

it and make me show 'em the lines.

One thing that I haven't seen mentioned yet is sunscreen. If you don't want
a "GOBA/Bike rider" tan, you should have a heavy sunscreen or long pants,
keep in mind the funky tan from your gloves, as well! All the other
suggestions that I've read have been great and though I've only been on one
GOBA ride, it is a fantastic experience. The host cities were very gratious
and we are welcomed with open arms. Plan on taking advantage of the evening
entertainment or what ever activities the host city provides. Last year was
a blast for my children and myself. Above all, train, train, train. This
is supposed to be a hilly ride. Enjoy!!!
