Hi Maureen:

Well, lots of problems again - not Mike's mom, but my mom this time. She's
been in the hospital 4 times since Feburary - had some pretty serious
surgery and then some complications, but she's finally okay, as a result I
used up some vacation time, which means I don't have enough time accumulated
to do both GOBA and XOBA, and take my desperately-needed vacation this year!
So I had to choose between GOBA and XOBA. With mom's recovery, I don't know
if I'll get trained well-enough by the time GOBA rolls around, so I opted to
skip it again this year. XOBA is a definite for sure though - Al, Mike and
I will be registering soon. If I don't get on the bike this year I'm gonna
croak!!!!!!

Thanks for your kind thoughts - will miss you guys as well, but XOBA is sure
to be a blast!!!!!
