I am looking for a few hardy souls interested in hiking Mt Mansfield
(again). Last time was for the Winter Solstice, this time I plan to
ring in the new year with a champagne toast atop Vermont's highest
mountain. I am planning to leave from the trailhead below Underhill
State Park and go up Sunset Ridge. Start time will depend on the group
but I would like to reach the summit around 11:45 pm. Anyone interested
should have full winter gear and be prepared to spend a half hour or so
