1- Duo Division Added
Ultimate Races has decided to make a quick change on their racing format for 2006. There seems to be a growing number of 2 person teams out there and an increasing amount of people are requesting that they race as a two person team. Ultimate Sports Association hears the call of these racers and will include a 2 person division in all their races for the 2006 season. Ultimate Sports Association would like to remind racers to try and make a 3 or 4 person team as Adventure Racing is very much a team effort and racing as a 2 person team takes away from the full experience of a traditional Adventure Race.
2- Bye Bye Solo
The solo division was created in order to give those people without a team a chance to race. We've done such a great job setting people up with teams there is no need for this.
3- 3 out of 4
A Championship team must compete in 3 out of 4 of the Ultimate Races to be eligible for the series prize. No longer must you compete in all 3 -12 hour races, you also have the 36 hour race option.
4- Championship Team Substitutions
Each registered Championship team can consist of 6 official members. A championship team may have up to 2 substitutions on their roster. No changes to the 6 official members are permitted during the season.
5- Bonus
A team may compete in the Ultimate 36 hour race and have that standing replace a 12 hour finish.
A 10 point bonus will be given to those using the 36 hour race as part of their point standings.

We spent hours yesterday to try and clean up our emailing list to prevent duplicate emails from going out. Please let us know if you would prefer our emails going to another address or if you would like to be removed from our distribution or if you are receiving this email multiple times (Excluding NYARA, NEARA, Mid Atlantic or GMARA Groups).
