Now, a few things coming up this month:
This weekend both Earls Cycles and Ski Rack are having their yearly swap meets.
If you're looking for a new(ish) bike at a reasonable price, or want to sell
your old bike, this is a *great* way to go!

This Sunday, May 7th, the Fellowship of the Wheel is having a trail maintenance
day in the Hinesburg town forest. This is a great local group that has done a
*lot* of work over the last few years to create and maintain some of the best
trails in the area. They're looking for help from 8:30 to 11, and then we'll
all take off and ride for a while. See directions at the end of this note. If
you'd like to join in, please try to email me and let me know by Saturday so
there will be enough tools to go around. (But if you don't, I'm sure you won't
be turned away. :)

(BTW - a $25 membership in the Fellowship also gets you access to Sleepy Hollow
- this is a great value on its own, and they're worth supporting. You need to
join soon for this benefit.)
Set aside the 18th for a climbing night at Petra Cliffs. Exact time TBD.
Last but not least, we're planning to join the Fellowship for a second trail
maint/ride day on the 21st of this month. Location TBD.
Hope everyone's having a great spring so far!

* Directions to Hinesburg Town Forest (Economu Rd. entrance):
From: CVUHS in Hinesburg, head due east up the hill (not north up towards Lake
Iroquois and Williston). You will come to a 4 way intersection. Proceed straight
ahead up Texas Hill Rd. approximately 3 miles. You will go past Hayden Hill East
on your right and then make your next right onto Texas Hill Circle. Go about 1/4
mile and make a right onto Economu Rd. Follow Economu to the end. Parking in the
Hinesburg Town Forest is limited, so you may park along the side of Economu Road
as well. Please don't block any driveways, we
need the neighbors on our side!
From: Richmond/Huntington Rd, head to Huntington and make a right onto Texas
Hill Rd. Go about 1/2 mile and make a left onto Texas Hill Circle. Follow for
about 1 mile and make a left onto Economu Rd. Follow Economu to the end."
