This year's Bitter Pill is on!
What: a twelve hour adventure race in gnarly yet picturesque Vermont.
Disciplines will include mountain biking, trekking, swimming,
canoeing, and a possible ropes section. As always with our races,
navigation with topographical map and compass will be a crucial part
of the entire course. Don't forget the post-race festivities -- pool,
hot tub, showers, arcade, massages, bonfire, and perhaps most
importantly, our post-race meal and awards ceremony!
Where: Bolton Valley Resort in Vermont. This area is as beautiful as
it is challenging: plenty of elevation to gain and lose, great wooded
navigation, and solid mountain biking on all sorts of terrain. You
won't go home disappointed!
Who: Unsupported teams of two or three. We use an accelerated cutoff
system that allows us to really challenge experienced teams while
providing a great race for first timers.
When: Registration, gear check, and navigation clinic August 11th. 12
hours of fun begin at 6am August 12th.
Cost:
Before July 10th: Teams of 2: $240, Teams of 3: $330
July 10th or later: Teams of 2: $280, Teams of 3: $375
GMARA members will receive a $10 discount on their entry fee.
