I have some exciting news to announce. GMARA will hold a winter
adventure race on March 4th at the Bolton Valley Resort. Several
club members have asked about winter races and about our hosting one
and it looks like it is going to come together nicely.

Since this a club event, I would like to have as many folks involved
as possible, doing things that they want to do. We'll need help with
the following areas (plus some I may be forgetting):
- Website updates
- Course testing
- Course & check-in staffing
- Posting flyers
- Writing press releases
- Photography & videography
- Recruiting sponsors

However, some of you will want to race and that's great. We're going
to offer club members $20 off the entry. Woo-hoo!

This race will be announced to the full AR community later this
week. I'm still trying to wrap up a couple key sponsors and finalize
some more details (budget, timeline, etc.) so please hold off on
specific questions for a few more days.

I'd love to have this race be a true club event with lots of
involvement, both as volunteers and racers, so please let me know if
you're interested in being a part of the club's first race!
