Hi,<br><br>Advice would depend on what events you
are entering. Kumite, be patient and relax, it is not
a race. Quite often all you need is a half point to
win. Move around, try not to be flat footed and look
for an opening. Once you are committed to a technique
make sure that you are fully committed, make the
technique strong and kiah like you mean it. <br><br>Don't
stop when you have thrown what you think is a
successful technique, don't stop until the ref calls yame,
the ref may not think the technique was as successful
as you did. Try and use lateral movement rather than
moving forward/backwards. At 7th kyu level, watch your
contact, and above all else have fun !!!<br><br>Sorry if I
have given you too much to think about, just relax and
enjoy it.
