Hello Gil Supporters....
Let me Re-Iterate.....LET'S PLEASE PRAY, OR HOPE FOR GOOD NEWS!
Regardless of religion, faith, or just the belief that for the good
thoughts and wishes of good hearts come the answers of those who wish
good thoughts.....please send one up to whomever, or send one in your
good hearts for the deliverance of GOOD NEWS this upcoming Wednesday!
I am not a very emotional man, but I tell you friends....I have years
of welled up tears of joy just waiting for what I am confident of,
the good news coming this upcoming Wednesday! Like many of you for
sure, for years, I have played through my head how I will handle the
good news, and recently, I have played it through my head more and
more! The only constants I have in all my portrails of the scene is
sheer happiness, a tear or two in the corners of my eyes, and just an
energy that I do not know how to relieve....I see myself doing one of
those old Toyota commercials, where I just jump as high as I can get
my 28 year old 6 foot 7 inch 320 pound frame up in the air, with my
arms raised high...."Oh What A Feeling....", or just the energy to
run a couple laps around my office building, and having to tell my
boss that I just cannot continue the business day...I just will not
be able to keep my mind on business....call me crazy if you want to,
but I mean every word I type now.
If and when the news comes, it will be one of the few moments when
all is right with the world, and a memory you will revell to tell
your Great-Grandchildren about....one of those few euphoric moments
you wish you could stand still in time. It will be one of those
memories that you will always remember, unfortunately like the
memories of the times you remember when all was wrong with the
world....the JFK assasination, Watergate, Reagan getting shot,
Challenger exploding in the heavens above, Dale Earnhardt dying (for
you fellow NASCAR fans), September 11, 2001, and most recently, The
Space Shuttle Columbia not returning home. I do not mean to damper
the mood of the potential occasion, but only mean to emphasize the
relavence of the occasion.
Let's please keep the faith, and hopefully together sigh a huge sigh
of relieve come this Wednesday! PLEASE....I have been through this a
few times myself, but in the event that things do not work out as we
wish upon, PLEASE DO NOT GIVE UP! Gil was not a quitter, and neither
are we!
Hope to see you in Cooperstown!
