Hello Gil Fans!

As an Oakland A's fan, and an obvious fan of Gil's, I find it
interesting that Art Howe has left the A's for the Mets. As a fan of
Howe's for many years, I have always felt that he and Gil have a very
similar managerial style. As a matter of fact, Art's presence in the
dugout seems eerily similar to Gil's. They are both quiet leaders
that have heavy influence over their players, both young and old. I
wish all the best for Art in NY, although my heart is broken with his
leaving Oakland. I am quite sure that after 2 or 3 years, Art will
make the Mets once again World Series contenders!

I am just wondering if any writers in NY have noticed what I have.
Am I the only one that thinks this?????

Would welcome any feedback.

Hope to see everyone in Cooperstown next year!
