Let's get this thing going so we can ALL get to the
beer bracket at a reasonable time.
15 teams max/$50 per team entry fee..
with pool play and a champions bracket for top two
teams in pool and a contenders bracket for the
next 6 teams(assuming 15 teams). Payout based on 15
teams is $500 first, $200 second, $50 for contenders
bracket winner. This format will allow us to have more
teams while still allowing all teams to compete to get
into the contenders bracket if they do not make it
into the championship bracket and make their money
back. Instead of 2-3 teams making it out of pool all
teams in a pool can make it out as we will take the
top 2 teams in each pool into the top bracket and then
the next 6 teams(3rd places for sure) into the
contenders bracket so it's possible for all 5 teams in
a pool to break if it is a stronger pool than the
others. I think this format will work out great so
we'll give it a shot.
