There are a number of things coming up with Gateway Sports. 

 

Connect:

1 - New Spring Sports League is starting up at the beginning of May with Registrations starting now.  If you've been looking for an area to help with Gateway, we will need a coach or two to step up due to the high demand.  Here's the link to register:

2 - Basketball - I'd like to get a pick-up game together this Wednesday at the McNeil Gateway location after work.  The weather's a little sketchy, but let's schedule a time at 5:30pm.  Bring some water.

 

3 - Basketball - We have our 4th Annual 3 on 3 Southside Shootout April 18th.  The deadline is April 13th.

Details: It's that time again! Get your basketball teams together for this year's 3 on 3 basketball tournament at Covington Middle School. Games begin at 10am! The tournament is co-ed and it will be double elimination so each team will play two games guaranteed! The cost is $5 per player and tournament T-shirts can be purchased for $10 but are not required.  The potluck picnic will begin at noon. More details on the picnic to come so stay tuned! 4 - Gateway Sports in the garage - Come on out and connect with others from Sports on April 19th at the Garage from 11 - 1 pm.  We'll be hanging out.

 

Help:

1 - Miracle League Help - We are looking for a number of people to come out and volunteer for the spring season.  You can find more information at www.miracle.tandcsports.org.  The season begins April 4th.  Please contact Claire Milam for further questions at clairemilam@....

 

2 – The Special Olympics are looking for helpers for April 24^th and/or April 25^th.  You won't find a more rewarding experience.  Volunteer at: http://a13sp09.eventbrite.com/

 

Grow:

Come check out the Gateway Sports Small Group.  They meet up twice a month and head to a sporting event once a month.  They have golfers, softball players, basketball players, tennis players, and all other people interested in sports in the group.  For more information, contact Todd Cottrell at tbc68@....
