Well, sad to see all the tournament photos gone from here from about
the last three years. Hoping this is a Yahoo problem, and they were
not actually removed!
Anyway...sorry that Gaston was out in Vina; I have just been
catching up myself. Having not seen too many photos from
Australia...I have been out there looking. Unless it's the cameras
(possible)..Gaston looks heavier than he did in Shanghai, which is
usually a detriment on the tennis court.
On ESPN in the USA, got to see the RARE match of Gonzalez/Gaudio
last November.........what a great match. I was so sorry that he was
overwhelmed in the quarterfinal with Federer. It's a very fine
balance out there to feel good.
Always enjoy coming to this site; belated congratualtions to
Nalbandian in Shanghai...what an incredible match. And, the Puerta
story is sad indeed. From what I can tell on the ATP
website....testing is pretty random.......and I have to believe the
ones who get caught are the greatest abusers. I had one friend
suggest to me that in professional sports; it's just a matter of
keeping ahead of testing for the latest substances. I certainly hope
that is NOT TRUE, but, who knows?????
Here is wishing a successful 2006 for Gaston; and remaining in the
top 10.
