For all those who get great enjoyment out of going out in the dark at 5:30 in the morning and freezing your oars off, I have bad news. The spring rowing schedule starts next week and there will only be two 5:30AM rows each week. For those who relish the pain of erg, I have more bad news. Effective next week, there will only be one boathouse erg session per week. For the rest of us (somewhat more normal folk) I have good news. The evening rows are back! Here is the new schedule:

My Husband just pledged $50.00 for whatever I do! Not bad. Any other Husband's or Wife's willing to pledge? See you on Sun.

Please clarify, do the Masters need to be there at 0900 or 1000? Erg-a-thon lasts how long? I'm beginning to feel the excitement, young & old. The best part is, parents with their children & beautiful weather at the Phillip's Center.

To the parent's of rowers: Take a good look at your beautiful child that has chosen to engage in the best possible, honorable sport. It stands to reason, that parents should follow their child's example.

It's never too late to join the Master's GAR. Come out and see us on Sun. We're the grey hairs having fun while doing the best we can to keep the body and soul in shape for our future years.

It�s our best and, maybe, only chance to get even for some of those nasty pieces he�s laid on us. We have four signed up now. To make it even sweeter, he�ll kick in a hundred bucks to the Masters� fundraising effort. That should be enough to get even the most fervent erg haters out.

Masters,

There's always time to get pledges. You don't have until just Sunday to do it. As stated in my previous email, you can get pledges even after the erg-a-thon is over. Just erg some meters and then pledge for those meters rowed next week!! Thanks for everyone's enthusiasm and support...even those who can't erg on Sunday!!
