The changes will be posted to our on-line calendar shortly.  Sign ups will still be needed, especially for the morning sessions.  For the morning sessions, please be signed up no later than 7:00 the evening prior to the row.  If you are signed up and cannot be there, please call the coach and let them know.  There is a little more flexibility for the evening and mid-morning sessions but it really helps the coach to plan if they know, in advance, who is going to be there.

THE BACK TO SCHOOL COACHING SALE

From now until September 30 the coaching fee is $5.00 per rower per session, regardless of the number of rowers, with no minimum number of rowers for a session.  Our coaches are making the sacrifice to encourage us to get on the water as much as possible.  The best way to show our appreciation is to COME OUT AND ROW!

EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 1

Pending approval by the Executive Committee, there will be a change in our quarterly dues and in our coaching fees.  The new quarterly dues will be $105.00.  The extra funds are needed to keep pace with costs.

In response to feedback, two changes:  First, instead of dividing up a $40 fee per session among the rowers, with a minimum of 4 rowers needed for a session, The coaching fee will be $10 per rower, regardless of the number of rowers present.  This means sessions will no longer be canceled if there are less than 4 rowers coming out.

For those of us who like to spend a lot of time on the water, there will be a new flat fee available.  We will be able to pre-pay a flat fee for all of our coaching (except private sessions).  The quarterly fee will be $195.00.  In case you’re sitting there doing the math, if you row 7 times per month, this becomes a good deal for you (not to mention not having to screw around with damp cash after every row).  If you row 8 times a month it all but makes up for the dues increase.  If you have a serious rowing habit you’ll save enough to be able to buy beer for the rest of us.

You’ll be receiving a second invoice each quarter containing the pre-paid coaching fee.  If you want to take advantage of it, just pay it along with your dues.  If you want to pay as you row, just ignore the coaching invoice and pay your dues alone.

One other small change to help things flow a little better under the new system, if you are paying by the session, please pay the coach before we go out.

See you on the water.
