If a club has a rule and no way to inforce it the rule isn't worth
the paper it is written on. If I belived that a person is cheating I
would protest the tractor and make the club put up. If the rule
is .75 specific gravity then that is the max. gravity for the fuel in
the class, there are a bunch of fuels that meet the rule but are not
gas but burn and create a lot of horsepower.
A club that I pull with has a rule in the stock class that says no
forced induction for the carb, this means that most of the newer
engines are illegal with stock carbuaton setups because they pick up
air from the flywheel and route it to the carb.
In my opion the biggest problem with the stock classes is that the
clubs are not willing to enforce the rules untill there are a bunch
of people complaining and then the club is an inaporiate name for
then being forced to enforce the rules.

night when i ran down at casey i noticed some guys running turbo blue
and you are stated to run pump gas with 7.50 specific gravity but
since we do not have a gravity tester they cant test fuel so we tried
some torco and ended up burning up our motor the next day when the
motor got too hot so i learned my lesson im going to start running
completely stock and just do it for fun not to be competitive thats
the reason stock has got so out of hand monkey see monkey do i guess.
Actually stocks one of the most competitive classes in our club ive
heard of a couple clubs out east that they had pro stock tractors run
against the stock tractors and the stock tractors beat them with ease.
