All other engine specs being equal, the regrinds (Vogel, Lakota or whomever ),
will outperform the 18 hp cam. Usually by a very noticeable margin (We've seen
as much as 30 feet difference).

For governed, stock classes it really has become what you can get buy with and
not get caught.
