Especially that brutal GA 600k!
Tony Goodnight's 400k on 7/4 was advertised as having 24,000 feet of climbing. If the GA 600k had 26,000 feet, the one in NC is nowhere close to that. There were some hills in NC, but nothing as bad as in north GA!
I do have to say, though, that the NC 400k out of Statesville was one of the prettiest rides I've done! That climb up to Little Switzerland was like Wolfpen only longer with less cars and a charming Alpine Inn and the town of Little Switzerland at the top.
Congrats to all the 1200k finishers!

I wonder if we could add a column on the results page of the Audax Atlanta website for 1200k finishers. With Gator and Ian doing well at the Shenandoah 1200k and Steve, Alan, Jeff & Mary all finishing the Gold Rush 1200k, I believe our finish rate is again at 100% for the year. I hope I'm not forgetting anyone. I think it's another testament to how well the north Georgia brevets prepare us for the toughest rides of all.
Congrats to all,
Kevin
