I remember it rained real hard for the
night before and frogs jumped out of the ditch and got run over by cars.
When the ride started the roads were still wet and the road spray
had frogs bits. After a few miles you could look at your arms and
see little frog legs and arms all over them. I asked Mike if I needed
to keep my mouth shut. He said "no, it's just sushi"

I'm not sure what happened but it got canceled mid-series
last spring. Greg, Bo and I rode their 300km last winter prior to its cancelation.
I enjoyed it but only because Greg and Bo were along. That may be the last
300km I ride for a long, long time.

in the recent RUSA newsletter and noticed that SC is down to a single
200km, and that the NW Florida series has disappeared altogether.
Anyone know the story on that one? On the brighter side TN is
offering a bunch of rides and we have a good choice here in GA.
My permanent is available if anyone is looking for
a 200km ride
in December - perhaps trying to snag that elusive R12 award. I'll
be
riding it myself one sunny weekday in December so if anyone would like
to join me and grab a 200 while you are at it please give me a holler.
