Rodney has worked hard at getting our brevet calendar posted for 2009 at www.audaxatlanta.com.  He's also set up a registration page for the Augusta rides which will start next month, so consider signing up if you're interested.

Even though I had big plans to bring additional rides to the calendar, I still only have a 200k and a 300k approved for the Augusta area.  I've cleaned up the cue sheet a little for the 300k, but otherwise things will remain the same.  I'll continue to work on variety for the future, but until then we'll use the same 200k for both January and February.  The only difference will be that the January 1st brevet will be a RUSA 200k, so no medals will be available.

As most of you know, Andy Akard is the new RBA for the Georgia brevet series.  If you get a chance to see him, be sure to thank him for keeping long distance cycling alive in our state.  It's a great set of rides, and it's nice to see these challenging rides continue.

I hope my curiosity wasn't interpreted as criticism over that hotel choice. It's just that, at least for me and apparently Mike too, those sort of experiences...
