Subject: Fellow RBA's ...
(we kindly ask you share this with other fellow riders)
Dear Fellow RBA's ...
For sure, come February 2009 most if not all of you will be in some
rather cold weather certainly longing for spring to roll in. Well, we here in
Its origins go back to when we created the first 600 km brevet. For
three days you will have a chance to ride 375 miles (okay, its really 380)
while passing by nine lighthouses. Day 1 is 150 miles, Day 2 is 100 miles and
Day 3 is 130 miles. The scenery is spectacular, takes place during the month of
February which also has the lowest average precipitation and lowest average
temperature.
For $349 the Tour is packed with perks that include a goodie bag with
$180 worth of stuff including a jersey, water bottles, tshirts, cap, plus other
things included such as three breakfast, three lunches, an opening ceremony
pasta party with live cultural entertainment and a closing ceremony with food
and music. We have mechanics, medical staff, sports massage, over 75 staff
members and oh yes, the menu has been prepared by a local leading Olympic
sports nutritionist. 19 hotels, all affordable, will make your stay memorable
and airfares are quite affordable as well. All breakfast and lunches take place
in amazing locations.
The purpose of this note is to kindly ask you to share this information
with your riders, friends and family. For certain someone will be interested
and all we can afford at this time is word of mouth. I have included an
attachment that has a link to our website (loaded with everything you need to
know) plus links to a short 5 minute You Tube presentation that will give you a
gist of the Tour. Registrations are suppose to close November 30 but we will be
extending it an additional month because there is a group of people from Spain
that just found out about the Tour and we dont want to leave them out.
If you have any questions, please feel free to drop me a note.
Saludos from
William A. Medina, RBA
