Announcing the creation of a competitive mixed team out of
Jacksonville, fl; Jacks-on-Jill. The practices are open and we
encourage anyone interested to come out!

The goal is to form a team that is competitive, fun to be apart of,
and has a foundation to build upon. The team will compete in the fall
series and represent Jax at regionals, with aspirations of nationals.

Our first tourney is coming up June 14-15, which is the Sunshine
State games in Lake Land, Fl. We are holding 2 open practices in
preparation and recruitment for this tourney.

The open practices are scheduled for Sunday, June 1st and June 8th.
Practice will be held at 2:00 – 4:30ish at Ed Austin Regional Park
(PAL). Ed Austin Park is at the intersection of McCormick Rd and
Monument Rd. Look for the big building with the red roof, the fields
are directly behind it.

The practice will consist of mostly skill and drill instruction,
followed by structured play capped with more drills. Please come
prepared with a light and dark shirt, sunscreen, and plenty of
water.

Please let us know if you plan on being apart of the practices. Also
let us know if you are interested in playing for Jacks-on-Jill and
can not make practice.

We strongly encourage women participation. The hardest obstacle to
overcome when forming a mixed team is recruiting women to play. So
even if you're not a very experience player, we want you to come
out.
