PEACHES is a mailing list for folks who ride tandem bicycles and who would like to join other tandem teams for group rides. Postings are generally used only to inform subscribers when tandem rides, rallies or social events are being held that may be of interest. PEACHES is an acronym for "Pairs Enthusiastically Astride Cycles Having Experiences Simultaneously". The list was created in 1997 and subscribers are cycling enthusiasts who have discovered the enjoyment, excitement, and camaraderie of riding bicycles built for two (or more) who live in and around the state of Georgia, also known as "The Peach State". By design, PEACHES is not an official club, does not collect dues, have by-laws, or have a leadership structure.
