But... will the US National team keep on selecting just MISL players? Does
anybody observe "real" futsal players during the whole season or at least during
the national finals?

Championships

Tim,

As a matter of fact this is already hapening. There is an U14 or U15 Soccer
team from San Jose "Lobitos"; this team is made-up of lot of the MACSA
futsal players and has won several North California State Championships and
many MACSA alumni have gone to college and the pros. Players like Enrique
Tovar and Vicente Figeroa are playing in the MISL (California Cougars) and
may even get a call-up to the national team for the up-coming Pan-American
Games.

Other players like Andrew Jacabson (UC-Berkley Senior) has played a lot of
futsal during his formative years and has 3 caps with the US Futsal National
Team.
Mehdi Ballouchy (Real Salt Lake) has won the US Futsal Nationals with World
United Futsal.

All the best,
Decio

This has to be the next step, and I'd also like to see MLS adopt Futsal rules, or at least drop the walls and use side and end lines. "Luca Ranocchiari -...
