This group is for sharing information about the Fu style internal martial arts created by Fu Chen Sung (Fu Zhen Song). These include tai chi, ba gua zhang (pa kwa chang), leung yee chuan, hsing yi chuan and many weapon forms.
Fu Chen Sung was the head instructor for ba gwa at the Nanjing Central Martial Arts Academy (Chung Yang Kuo Sho Kuan) in the 1920's, during the period of the nationalist government. Fellow teachers there were Yang Cheng Fu (tai chi), Sun Lu Tang (bagwa and hsing yi) and Yin Yu Chang (bagwa). Fu also taught sword techniques to the republican army on the invitation of General Li Jing Ling ("Magic sword" Li). Both Fu and Li learnt sword techniques from Song Wai-Yi, founder of the wudang sword method. Fu's son, Fu Wing Fai, further developed the style.
Fu's early teachers were Chen Yan Si (8th generation Chen style tai chi) and (Jia) Chia Feng Ming (student of the founder of bagwa, Dong Hai Chaun). He continually adapted his style from exchanging information with others.
