GUEST SPEAKER:

Don Leppert, former player for the Pittsburgh Pirates
& Washington Senators. Don became the 20th player to
hit a home run in his first major league at-bat (off
Curt Simmons). He later coached for the Toronto Blue
Jays, Pittsburgh Pirates, & Houston Astros. Most
recently he was director of Player Development for the
Twins. Don was on a major league committee analyzing
the practicality of using aluminum bats.
