Phillies beat my cubbies 5-3 late in the game. I had the pleasure of
sitting in the W4-1-1 seat behind home dugout and just to the left of
famed cubbie fanatic who sets up his little cubbie shrine prior to
the game, hes also like guy #1 who got the lifetime ticket tattoo.
Wellemeyer pitched nicely, and seems to have the strikeout touch -
but Ive got to say every time he did get tagged it seemed like an
extra base hit. The kid didnt give up more than 3 before yielding to
Murphy in MR and finally Montero.
Had oppty to see John Cangelosi, who is down from chicago. I guess
hes working out some of the baserunning on the team.
Luis Montanez looked great in the field but struggled at the plate
fanning at least twice in my recollection.
My only gripe with the cubbies --- only 1 (yes ONE) Left handed
hitter! Making it darn tough for photo afficienatos like myself to
get good pics from my front row seat! Now I know, next time Ill try
to get there for BP and get on the field (if possible).
I took roughly 53 high res shots, about 50-50 on what I think is
decent vs. mediocre in quality , Im still getting used to night game
photography so the predusk shots stand out.
roughly 22 are posted and the other 30 will go up by this evening,
