Hello again triathletes,
We are 2 weeks from race day and there are less than 100 slots available for the inaugural IM10 triathlon, “The 14.06”. This first-ever, one-tenth ironman will be held Sunday, July 12, 2009 at the George Mason Freedom Aquatic Center in Manassas, Virginia. All proceeds from the race will benefit the Hope Runs charitable organization, dedicated to improving the quality of life for children orphaned by AIDS in East Africa.
Our team has gone the extra mile to make The 14.06 an event to remember. This won’t be your typical, run-of-the-mill sprint race. We have great food and music, and have put together some fantastic age group awards and random door prizes:
ĄP Blue Seventy transition backpacks
ĄP Weekend hotel getaways
ĄP Massages
ĄP Spa Treatments
ĄP
Restaurant giveaways
By participating in the The 14.06, you will be part of triathlon history. The 14.06 is the inaugural race of this unique format, but you’ll see more “IM10” events in the future, including an IM10 race series next year.
I appreciate your interest and hope to see you on race day.
Sincerely,
Richard Rostant
