Word is that Steinbrenner want Pedro, although his management does
not. We could be going back to the days when King George makes moves
on his own. That is bad news for the Yankees, but it hurts if he
takes Pedro away. I'm sure that he belives that this is a good move
because he would get a good pitcher AND, almost or even more
importanlty it deals a body blow to the Red Sox.

I said all along that the Sox should sign him up because the interest
in him will be immense.
