FWD: Re: PRU: Coaching clinic July 29-30...

FYI for any interested in getting into coaching. Please pass on to anyone who
might be interested. Pete or Shaw, please pass this on to Jeff Kline just in
case he wants to go. I don't have his new email. I believe we said in the past
that we'd pay for (at least) one person to go get certified if it might benefit
the club. Looks like there's a possibility below for more reimbursements from
the PRU....

A reminder about the upcoming coaching clinic, now only a month away. But
there are only TWO WEEKS left to register. The clinic will not happen if we
do not get the minimum of 10 registrants per class. As of this time, we are
woefully short of that minimum, and I would fully expect to at least have 20
in each class. Should we get sufficient class attendance, the PRU will
rebate a portion of the cost of the clinic.

Besides the requirements to have a certified coach, it greatly behooves each
club to have one (or more) certified coaches - better game tactics, offense,
defense, skills, techniques, game plan, you name it. The PRU will cover
part of all of the cost of the coaching clinic (send an e-mail to me and
treasurer Jamie Jisa to ask about this) for college, HS/U19, and youth
clubs.

If you are having trouble registering, now is the time to ask.
