The polls shows that plenty of people want to play tonight, but I don't
know if mother natural will cooperate tonight. We are going to wait
until this beautiful sunshine gives way to a steady rain before we call
it off. But if it does rain, especially if it starts after we start
playing, who is interested in going out for drinks/dinner? Place to
meet? Time? Send me your suggestions and I will include it in the
email around 5:00 with the latest status. Also, send me your contact
info if I don't have it and it is not in the database if you want to
call you if it is canceled after my email, or if our plans change.
The following fptennis poll is now closed. Here are the
final results:
POLL QUESTION: The weather is questionable at this point for Thursday,
30% chance of rain. Please select one of the choices in the poll so we
can determine who will or will not be playing. If you intend to play we
really need you to respond. The FP courts are first come, first served,
and are technically for FP residents only. Only 3 regular players are
FP residents. Please DO NOT mention MCSC while you are there. We are
not part of MCSC, just a group of local friends who meet to play
tennis. We are not an orgainzed group or league. For new members, we
usually play approx 2 hours. Don't forget water and everyone playing
need to bring new/good condition tennis balls each week. Also, it is a
good idea to keep insect repellant with you. See you on the courts..
