Dear Friends,
The proposed dates of Sept. 9 & 16 were not convenient meeting dates
for most folks. So, how about Saturday, Sept 23 or 30th. 0r Sunday
Sept 24 or Oct 1? Or would a weekday evening (Wednesday, September 20
or 27) be better? On the planning front, in a few weeks, I will be
forwarding for review draft copies of materials that could be used to
file for incorporation and non-profit tax status.

Also, a Friends of FWP, Nordic Ski Swap fund raising idea has been
suggested.

Acceptable sale items would include cross-country, back country, and
roller skis, along with poles,boots, bindings, and snowshoes. The idea
is FFWP accepts used stuff, sells it and takes a cut of the profit.
The event would take place in Nov or Dec. The only real challenge is
for someone to open a FFWP bank account before the event.
