Briefly:
The Panther's nine-game losing skid is its longest
since a team-record 13-game skid from Feb. 7-March 23,
1998.
Roberto Luongo who made a season-high 42 saves in his
last game, leads the league with 578 shots faced.
Panthers team leaders: Nathan Horton, 7 goals; Olli
Jokinen, 11 assists and 16 points; Branislav Mezei, 37
PIM.
The Senators are coached by former Florida Panther GM
Bryan Murray, while the Panthers are coached by former
Ottawa Senator's coach Jacques Martin.
Joe Nieuwendyk (back), Anthony Stewart (wrist),
Branislav Mezei (ligaments), Rostislav Olesz (sprained
knee) and Nathan Horton (sprained knee) remain on the
IR.

Martin home, but his team astray
Jacques Martin is making the most of his first trip
back to Ottawa as Panthers coach -- even with a
nine-game skid.

Panther's prospect Grant McNeill skated for the first
time in three weeks following his concussion.

(While he'd like to take to the ice this weekend, I'm
not sure that's a good idea with Worrell in town.)
