Hello!! I am a new member. Yesterday I went over
to Hocketfest and let me tell you, it was the time
of my life. I finally got to meet Ray Whitney! What
a sweetie! Well, Todd walked right in front of me.
I couldn't keep my eyes off of him. LOL! He's soooo
hot in person! He has these beautiful eyes! And I
have a question for u fans, who on the team is #48 and
#47?? Thanx!

*~*Miriam*~*
Hi
My name is Matt and I am a huge Florida
Panthers fan, unfortunately I live half way around the
world in Manchester England and thus it is a bit more
difficult than usual to follow the team especially when it
comes to trades etc. Luckily I can check the official
website etc. Anyway c ya soon
Matt
Hi Amanda and everyone,
Like Amanda I am a
new member who is also now away from South Florida. I
was born and raised in Miami, but last year moved to
California. I miss goingto Panthers games too, and am also
upset again by Murry's actions. But you have to
remember Amanda, this is the same man who traded Stu
Barnes for Chris Wells. So while he has made some good
moves like trading for Bure, and picking up Ray Whitney
off wavers, he still makes some bone-headed
moves.

Mike
Hi everyone....
My name's Amanda and I'm a big
Panthers fan. I live in Michigan now, but up until a year
ago, I lived down in South Florida and attended
many-a-practice and hockey games of the Panthers. I miis it a
lot, but have lots of practice stories to share. Cats
are great, but their management needs some attention,
especially now that Murray traded Parrish and Kvasha away
:-( Okay.....thanks for listening/reading, and I'll
hopefully get to talk to some of you soon.

Amanda
Hello! I am a Todd Simpson fan and I am trying to
get information about him from Florida Panther's
fans. I invite everyone to check out my page dedicated
to him and ask that if you have any information,
gossip or picture of him that you let me know. Being
that I don't live in Florida it is hard for me to know
everything. Thanks!
<a href=http://members.xoom.com/toddsimpson

Three straight losses on home ice since that bell
has been introduced. It is not a good thing to try
and start a new tradition in mid-season. It's time
for the fans to tell the managers of our Panthers
team to please get rid of that bell!!!
Ouch this one was a tuffie. The cats are my fav
team with the leafs being second. The goal the leafs
scored should not have counted as Perreault had his
stick vup by his elbows.Ahwell.They played a good game
and so did the Leafs.Final score 3-2 leafs.
on a
side note. The rookie Novaseltov or something playing
in his first game looked impressive netting both
goals.
The Panthers played the wings last night where
the cats were the under dogs. The wings had a 2-0 lead
when the Panthers scored 3 straight.Only to have the
last one called back because of a Penalty. The cats
still played a great game and i think we are serious
Cup contendors.Yet again feel free to poste.Bye!

cats got their first look at Trevor Kidd last night.Overall it was a great
game.Come on people poste!

WASHINGTON 3 -----------------------
SUNRISE, Florida
(Ticker) -- Ray Whitney had two goals and an
assist and
Pavel Bure and Viktor Kozlov scored
power-play
tallies to lead the Florida Panthers to a 4-3 victory
over the
Washington Capitals in the season opener
for both teams.
Whitney gave the Panthers a 2-1
lead with 99 seconds left in the
first period when
his backhander from the top of the crease got
past
goaltender Olaf Kolzig.
Whitney's second goal came with
just under three minutes gone in
the second period
as he put Mark Parrish's centering pass over
a
sprawled Kolzig to give Florida a two-goal cushion.
Bure, who had 13 goals in 11 games for the Panthers
before
suffering a season-ending knee injury in March, opened
the
scoring at 3:28 of the first period. He was camped at the
right
side of the net and deflected Robert Svehla's point
shot pastKolzig.
Jan Bulis scored twice for the
Capitals. He swooped in from the
left corner and
trickled a backhander past Sean Burke with just
over
three minutes left in the third period, slicing the
deficitto 4-3.
Washington nearly tied it in the final
minute, but Burke robbed
Adam Oates with a sliding pad
save. He finished with 31 saves.
Kolzig stopped 19
shots, including several nice saves on Bure.
The
Panthers improved to 3-3-1 in season openers
while
Washington dropped to 12-12-2.
