The Cat's are showing signs of the problems they
had before Bure, basicaly, no one is showing up and I
find players like Svehla really frustrating. Here is a
guy who can easily be a yearin year out all star, but
lacks the concetration and fire. He is a Rob
Niedermayer of Defense. I think that the organization missed
the boat on getting a decent trade for Nieder, up to
last year he was criticisized for not being a leader
in crucial situations (not scoring when needed).
With Bure on the team, he missed the golden
opportunity of being the Martin Straka of Florida and rack up
a ton of points off Bure, many teams realize that
he is basicly a hard hitting forward who can be
magic on some rare night, not exactly trade material.
Still, maybe a package with him and pitlick can produce
something (such as his brother, Carter, Arnott, or other
big talent out there) because as I see it now, apart
from a great young goal keeper, Bure, Whitney and the
tempermental Svelah, The cats don't have as much bite as we
think. Something will be done soon though, as The Murray
Bros. both have their necks on the line..
