Wanted to let those who didn’t know that Terry Simmering is very ill.  What started as a small rash during the early part of RAGBRAI (bike across Iowa) turned into a very irritating wide spread rash, then emergency room visit, then admission to the hospital (Progress West) for many tests.  Then came the breathing problems.    Currently he is on ventilation (50% oxygen) and being kept unconscious for his comfort while they try to find out exactly what’s wrong and give suitable treatment.  Latest word is that the skin problem is fungal in nature, and not sure yet if the lung problem is as well.  Please keep him and Kay in your thoughts.  Obviously no visitors at this time.  I’ll keep you posted.
