There is a 5k in Cottleville on October 4th, I have sponsored the race for the last three years, Fleet Feet does the timing. This year it will start at my store, go up hwy N, circle around Old Town Cottleville and back down hwy N. The crossing of the intersection has been removed.
There will be a kids fun run around the store after the 5k. I¢ll be doing it with 2 of my sons (14 & 8)
Also next weekend there is the 7 mile trail run at Klondike, part of the Wild in the Woods run. You can do any individual race within the series. Are any other members doing the Pere Marquette Trail race?
I would like to go there and run it and see if any other members are interested.

I did run in the 5K held at Grace Lutheran Chapel. It wasn't a bad run. It was rather humid and I lost track with the mileage, although I didn't get lost, since the course was marked as far as direction. My finishing time was 37:52. It wasn't a great time, but it was one minute off the pace I was going for. I still blame the humidity on this one.
Now to find a 5K in October, since I'm helping with Academy of Sacred Heart and not particpating in it. I've known the race director for 30 years that's doing Academy of the Sacred
Heart.
So I'm not running in my favorite race for a second straight year. That is no problem at all.

just a heads up concerning Creve Coeur Lake - with all the recent rain, the trail is flooded in several places which makes it impossible to run any type of...
I ran there today as well. Parked at the soccer field lot and ran down to the roundabout, up the hill, and out toward the bridge. Three miles out and then...
