Hi Manfred:
My day is still up in the air. Harry and I are going to Bell Buckle TN for the MoonPie 10 miler that day. We plan on being back Saturday late afternoon but not definite on the time yet. Depending upon the time of the dinner, I would love to attend but I may be a little late for it. Let me know the time and I will try to get back in time. Thanks
Howard

Subject: [fleetfeetlouisville] Ernst Koehler's Visit on June 20
Gang,
If you remember Ernst Koehler, our former trainings partner
and accomplished marathoner, this message is for you.
A business trip to the US will allow Ernst to return to
Louisville for a short visit this month (it will be just Ernst, not his wife,
Bea). Ernst will arrive in Louisville in the evening of Friday, June 19
and will depart sometime on Sunday, June 21. He would like to go out for
a short run with us on Saturday morning, June 20. His hip joint is still
bothering him and does not allow Ernst to run longer distances. About 3
to 4 miles at a moderate pace will allow Ernst to stay with us.
The plan is to start at 10:00 am from the Fleet Feet store,
run the Scenic Loop, and finish at the store. This will allow the runners
with longer training runs to finish their runs before joining Ernst for the
group run, and then getting together for coffee/breakfast/brunch after the run.
In the evening we are planning to have dinner together with
Ernst. We either will have it at a restaurant or at my home, depending on
the number of attendees (if it is getting too crowded, we may have to do it at
a restaurant). Please let me know who is planning to attend dinner, and I
will make a final decision where we will have it.
Of course, as with every business trip, things can change
quickly.
Manfred
