The race starts this year at 7:30.  I was thinkinga about meeting somewhere downtown around 6:45 but hadn't really scoped out a place yet. In the past Michael Spears has let us park in a Bellsouth lot but I think that he isn't doing the mini this year.

 

I talked to Howard this morning and he was scared to do something like this since he tends to run late.

Hey Dennis!  What are your thoughts for Saturday?  If we carpooled what time and where?  Is anyone going to the pasta dinner Friday night?  Dad(Howard) and I will be going around 5:30/6pm if anyone would care to join us.

Congrats on your Boston Marathon.  Given the weather conditions I bow down to you.  Also congrats to Tammy and anyone else who braved the weather and prevailed.

 

Is anyone interested in doing a carpool thing for the mini? We can meet downtown and I can take 6 or 7 people to the start in my minivan.

I just received a broadcast email from the Chicago Marathon.  They have reached the cap of 45,000 runners; registration is now closed.   This is amazing; in previous years registration used to close around June/July, and the cap was even smaller.

 

I hope that everyone who was planning to run Chicago this year got their registration in on time.
