Kiawah Marathon   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #20 of 733 |

It has been pretty quiet on this list.  Let’s break the silence with a big round of applause for our own Tammy Brown.  She finished the Kiawah Island Marathon last weekend in a fantastic 3:55:05 (and missed Boston qualification by a mere 5 minutes; what a bummer).  Congratulations, Tammy.  You achieved a great result.  I assume you are in for some rest now and we won’t see you for a few weeks; but you always can join us for coffee.  Our own long runs are not that long yet.

By the way, Fred and I are planning to run a few miles after the Reindeer Romp tomorrow morning; right after the finish, before we get cold and tight.  Anyone wanting to join us is more than welcome.

Manfred

Tammy Congrats on your marathon. I guess that you have proven that if you train long enough good things will happen. Dennis ... From: tamela363...
